According to IMDB, Mark Bridges — who is best known for his work on Silver Linings Playbook, The Fighter, and Captain Phillips, and won the Oscar for The Artist in 2012 — joined the cast and crew on location in Vancouver over the Thanksgiving weekend.The first photo from the set shows Dakota Johnson (as Anastasia Steele) and Jamie Dornan (as Christian Grey) filming a scene that appears to be the couple’s first rendezvous. In the book, Anastasia is described as wearing a navy-blue jacket, blue sweater, skirt, and a pair of brown boots when she meets Christian, who is clad in a “fine gray suit, white shirt, and black tie.” While both characters are fully clothed, Bridges has undoubtedly been busy pulling together a wardrobe that will consist of lots of lingerie for our heroine and plenty of crisp white shirts and ties for the leading man.
